After 11 years in the IT industry, Anthony Tierney knew it was time for a change. When redundancies were announced, he saw an opportunity rather than a setback and volunteered, determined to reinvent himself with a career change to accounting.

At 24, John Brennan had already completed his law degree and set his sights on a career in the legal sector. His degree gave him a strong academic foundation, but John knew employers look for more than theory. To stand out, he needed practical, professional skills he could bring straight into the workplace. That is what led him to Pitman Training Carlow.

My name is Tracey. I’m a mum of three and grandmother of two. In my spare time, I work part-time as a musician and enjoy looking after my animals, including my horse, dog and cat. After recently retiring from full-time teaching, I decided to update my computer skills with Pitman Training Wicklow so I could pursue a return to medical administration, a field I worked in many years ago.

My experience with Pitman Training Wexford has been very positive. The course is flexible, which makes it possible for me to study at a pace that works for my life and goals.

After years in retail, Shannon made the decision to change career and build a future that gave her more time with her son — and she’s already landed a role as an Accounts Assistant while completing her course.

I am currently studying the Diploma in Medical Administration with Pitman Training Laois as part of a planned career pivot from software and operations into healthcare administration.

I am focused on developing strong practical skills in bookkeeping through my studies with Pitman Training. I have a basic background in bookkeeping, and I see this course as an important step in strengthening my foundations and preparing myself for a career in finance and accounting.

My name is Barry Bresnihan, and I am currently studying for a Project Management Diploma at Pitman Training Cork. I am a highly motivated and energetic professional with experience working in fast-paced environments, where I’ve developed strong adaptability and resilience.

Pedro recently completed his IT Specialist Python course with Pitman Training Clare and has shown real dedication throughout his studies. His commitment paid off, and he’s now stepping into his next chapter with a qualification to show for it.
