Sligo

The Pitman training centre in Sligo has a nice atmosphere, it is conducive to learning and upskilling and it’s very convenient to the town centre, so it’s handy to get there. The staff there are helpful and supportive and overall it’s a great place to do training courses.

Currently completing Medical Diploma I find the course interesting and find The Pitman method of learning works great for me .I find the combination of online learning and on site coaches a brilliant combination .I would have no hesitation in recommending Pitman for anyone who is looking to upskill or develop new talents.

After 32 years working in financial services I decided I needed a change , I was very apprehensive about a change in career. I was delighted with my choice to go to Pitman which was recommended to me by a former colleague. I really didn’t know what options were opened to me but having gone through induction with the team in Sligo who were so helpful and professional we went through my strengths , interests and what appealed to me. I am so happy that I have chosen Pitman , the facilities the course content and the one to one with facilitator is the best. I have been made feel so welcomed & it has given me so much confidence that I can do so much more in other fields and more access to other opportunities after a long career. Pitman training is a great way of learning. There’s so many courses to choose from. The courses are flexible and you can study at a time that suits you best and work it around your schedule. There’s so much help and support here at all times. Everyone is lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend Pitman training.

Really friendly and accommodating staff who do their very best to help you when studying or guiding you to a course that works best for you. The courses themselves are interactive and easy to follow and can be accessed from home or at the Sligo branch. I'd highly recommend pitman training!

I recently completed the CompTIA A+ course at Pitman Training and had a great experience. The course material was clear, well-structured, and very helpful for building a solid IT foundation. The staff Frances were supportive and always available to assist when needed. I would definitely recommend Pitman Training to anyone looking to start or advance their career in IT.

I recently completed an Advanced Accounting Diploma at Pitman Training Sligo. The support I received throughout was excellent. In particular a special thanks to Frances who was super helpful and understanding. It was great to be able to complete the training either remotely or in the centre and have the flexibility to work around work and personal commitments. I couldn't fault Pitman for anything at all.

Had a really good experience doing an Adobe After Effects course through Pitman Training Sligo. The staff I met were very friendly and so helpful!

I recently completed an Office Skills Diploma at Pitman Training Sligo. The support I received from my initial enquiry right through to completion was second to none. A special thanks to Frances who was always on hand to offer help and encouragement when needed. I completed a Digital Skills with Accounting Diploma in April. I really enjoyed the course, it was so user friendly which was great for me as i had very little computer skills, i was able to take time away from studying when necessary, and Frances was always there to help me if i had any issues. Graduating was a great experience and i am already looking for my next course to study!

I found the Medical Office course very interesting and i learned so much from the course. I changed career since starting the course and this has helped me so much in my new place of work.. I took up a Professional Development course with Pitman and i must say it was one of the best training courses i have ever attended. The support i got from Frances McCarrick in Sligo was tremendous. During a time of going through Covid and 2 family members going through cancer, Frances gave me all the support & encouragement to enable me to fulfill my diploma on time. Frances did regular checks on me and was always there when i needed help with any of the modules. This learning experience was very straight forward and fitted into my busy role in HR and has made me more confident in my abilities. My advice to anyone thinking about doing a course with Pitman is just go for it, you still have your spare time with family and with good organization & time management you can complete the course you have always wanted to do. Thank you to Frances and the team in Sligo for always being on hand to guide me through the process and giving me such valuable training across a variety of subjects chosen for my professional development diploma.

I recently completed the ECDL course with Pitman Training. Whilst in college I struggled a lot with the IT module but with this course it could be completed at my own pace and covers the topics that will be used in day to day. I can’t thank Frances enough, she was a massive help with continuous support and always so welcoming!
