What are the costs involved?
We’ve the largest range of courses in Ireland, meaning we can almost always offer a choice of training programmes to suit most pockets – getting the skills employers want needn’t break the bank. Individual course modules start at €175 and our Diploma and Awards range starts at €900.
The level of investment you make in yourself by gaining essential skills depends on a number of factors including the course you choose. Unlike most courses, our certified Diplomas, Awards and individual training courses vary in duration and breadth, plus our training is always flexible and tailored to your needs.

Our training really is the best value available in Ireland, and this is especially true because our fees cover everything.
Naturally, most people consider fees when evaluating the potential cost of training or upskilling, but the biggest cost is often the time you need to invest in your training. For example, graduating even 3 months earlier in a training programme, can mean substantial savings, with 3 months additional income in your new job.
As you can enrol on our courses throughout the year, and most can be completed 3 to 4 times faster than comparable training programmes, without any sacrifice on content or quality, there's a real saving to your pocket in choosing the most efficient and cost-effective methods that Pitman Training offers.

No Hidden Costs
As our courses fees cover everything you need to train and graduate, there are no hidden costs. Your course fees cover all workbooks and materials, fees for exam re-sits (if needed), student cards, distance learning access, certification, graduation, admin fees etc.
How we calculate your Course Fees
Because all of our training programmes are customised and tailored especially for you, there are lots of options with all of our courses, so the fees will depend on the options you choose.
Most of our training programmes include a range of options, including the level of training, as well as a range of elective courses, to ensure the training matches your current skills and career or training objectives exactly.
We also offer a range of discounts. For example, we recognise certification such as QQI, MOS, CompTIA and ECDL, and if you’ve passed these exams within the last three years, we will provide you with a credit towards the course fees.
With over 450 courses on offer, we will usually have at least 2 or 3 training options for every subject.
Flexible Installment Options
The fees for many of our Diplomas and Awards can be settled via an instalment payment plan, once you have paid the initial deposit. You can then pay on a weekly or monthly basis with fees generally starting at around €40 per week for most courses. Our course advisors will discuss with you the duration of the payment plan, as it will be based on your circumstances and the overall study period, which may be a number of weeks or months. You could also benefit by paying in full when you enrol, so check with your local centre to see what offers or local bursaries are available.
