All our courses are available for you to train either full-time, part-time or in a flexible manner from home now or later at our training centre, meaning you’ll never miss a lesson or fall behind.

Tell us about yourself.
After a life in construction, I thought I’d get away with not using computers in any way, shape, or form, but following an injury, my doctor advised me to change my career path. I found a suitable job with my present skills, but it required a certain amount of computer activity, which I didn’t have. After being highly recommended by others, I sought out Pitman Training.
Tell us about your achievements since commencing or graduating from your Pitman Training course.
Quite honestly, I was very surprised, but after a lot of one-on-one training with the staff at Pitman Training Cork, everything fell very easily into place. I feel much happier and confident now – ready to take on my new post and possibly further training at a higher level.
Tell us about your experience with Pitman Training.
My experience with Pitman Training so far has been fantastic. The girls in the centre have been so good at helping me with all my questions, and I feel like I’ve really learned so much in such a short space of time.
What advice would you have for people wanting to do a course?
My advice to others who wish or need to learn about computers at a beginner level is to keep at it – don’t give up! I suggest doing the initial Pitman beginners’ course, PC Essentials, which is an excellent start to using computers and will give you the working knowledge and confidence to carry on.
