It is Pitman Training’s purpose to protect employees and learners from accident or ill health at work or training.
The company will seek to ensure that all our equipment and systems do not constitute a risk to the Health & Safety of our employees or learners and we will consult with employees on risk improvements.
The following sets out our approach to Health & Safety in that we will:
- Provide a safe place for work and training
- Continue to identify and eliminate hazards
- Prevent any improper conduct or behaviour liable to put the safety, health and welfare of employees or learners at risk
- Consult with staff on all Health & Safety matters
- Provide safe entry and exit of the building
- Provide a safe system of work practices
- Provide appropriate information and training to staff members on a continuous basis
- Ensure that Health & Safety remains a key issue for employees and learners alike
