I just received my Legal Secretary Diploma from Pitman Training in Naas.
I was working in a shop part time when I started so the fact that the hours were so flexible really suited me. Everyone in the office was so helpful and I found the audio and the books really easy to follow.
I recently started working as a Clerical Officer with the Legal Aid Board. I believe having this Diploma really increased my chances of getting this job and I find I use the skills and knowledge I acquired from the course on a day-to-day basis, especially typing.
Courses at Pitman Training are so flexible and can be completed as quickly or as slowly as you like. Students can do as many hours a week as they wish, a major advantage over full time college courses as it allows students to work etc. at the same time. Overall, my experience at Pitman Training was positive and it helped me to get a job in the field in which I wanted to work.
