As a medical secretary, you will need to have good knowledge of the industry and apply same in activities that range from scheduling appointments to billing. Thus you would need special medical secretary training in carrying out a range of activities on a daily basis, these activities include: Billing, printing consent forms, scheduling appointments, and surgeries making reports, compiling documentation and data, answering the phone, and routing test results. Although these may seem like typical activities carried out by the average secretary, the job of a medical secretary differs because they apply skills and experience specific to the medical industry.
Legal Secretary
A legal secretary may fulfil a multitude of roles within a firm. From answering calls and greeting customers to writing up legal documents for court cases and helping with office management. The fast-paced work is varied and changes day to day, with new opportunities to progress. This valued position forms the backbone of the legal profession.
